We price every project on a quote basis, because needs range from a one-page showcase to a large company website. Tell us what you need and you get a clear quote. The quote is free and doesn’t commit you to anything.

The quote covers the whole package: planning, visual design, build, mobile optimisation, search engine basics and launch. We also show you how to update the site yourself. The quote shows exactly what you get, so there are no surprise invoices.

Not from us. We do one-off projects: you pay for the work once, and we have no monthly fees or maintenance contracts. Hosting or the site platform and your domain (e.g. yourcompany.fi) cost a small amount that you pay directly to the provider. We help you set them up in your own name.

Of course. We also do single jobs such as flyers, social media graphics, ads, presentations and business cards. Small jobs are quoted too, and they’re usually done in a few days.

Simple sites are ready in a few days, larger ones in a few weeks. We do the work ourselves from start to finish, so the schedule is in our hands. It’s fastest when your texts and images are ready, but if they aren’t, we help with those too.

First tell us what you need and we send you a quote. Once you accept, we make a design draft, build the site and make changes based on your feedback. Finally we test and launch the site, hand it over to you and show you how to update it.

To begin, it’s enough to know who the site is for and what you want visitors to do. If you already have a logo, brand colours, images or texts, they speed things up. If you don’t have material yet, we help you create it.

Absolutely. We design the look around your brand and goals, and you see a draft before we build anything. We make changes based on your feedback, and the build starts only when you’re happy with the design.

We choose the platform to fit your needs: we code the site ourselves or build it with, for example, WordPress, Webflow or Framer. If you want to update content yourself, we choose a setup where you can do it without code. We don’t use ready-made templates, so your site is fast, secure and looks like your company.

Yes, that’s the idea. We build the site so you can change texts and images without coding skills. We show you how at handover.

Yes. All our sites are responsive, so they work on phones, tablets and computers. We design phone first, because most visitors now come from a phone. Google also ranks sites mainly by their mobile version.

Yes. We first go through what works on your current site: its content and search rankings. When we redesign, we set up redirects so your Google visibility stays and old links keep working.

You do. Once the project is paid and the site handed over, the site, content, domain and logins are fully in your control. You’re not tied to us in any way: you can update the site yourself or hand it to anyone else.

After handover the site is in your control, and you can easily change texts and images yourself. We don’t offer ongoing maintenance, but if you later need, say, a whole new section or a redesign, you can ask us for a quote as a separate project.

We build every site to be search engine friendly: pages load fast, the structure is clear, and titles and meta data are in order. If your customers come from a certain area, we also optimise for local searches such as “hairdresser Pori” or “plumber Tampere”. Rankings usually take a few months to rise after launch.

Yes. We write clear, persuasive texts optimised for search engines. Images can come from a stock library, be shot separately or be edited from your own photos. Tell us what you need when you ask for a quote and we include it.

We take accessibility into account in every project so everyone can use the site, including people using a screen reader or only a keyboard. Every site gets a GDPR-compliant privacy policy, and if the site uses analytics or marketing cookies, we also add a cookie notice.

Yes. We design logos, colour palettes, typography and brand guidelines, plus matching flyers, social media templates, business cards and print. When the brand and website are made together, the whole thing looks consistent.

Yes. Nocean Oy is a web and design studio from Pori, but we work with clients all over Finland. We can work fully remotely, so your location doesn’t matter. In Pori and nearby we’re also happy to meet in person. We work in Finnish, English and Swedish.
